About the Doctor

 Once a promising young scholar and all around math whiz, the Doctor’s life changed forever when he was challenged by friends to come up with a statistical model to predict the outcome of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.  His model was an overnight success, resulting in an NCAA pool victory and a sweet cash prize.  They say money changes people - it makes them AWESOME.  Since then, the Doctor has eschewed a life of honest work in favor of the fast paced world of designing algorithms to make sports picks with, at best, sporadic success.  But he’s constantly tinkering and remains convinced that one day he’ll hit on the secret formula to predict games perfectly.  Until then, he’ll be right here tossing out crazy picks and even crazier theories alongside his co-host the Dude on doctoranddude.com!
